A long time ago there was a doll - a porcelain doll - once precious to its owner, a little girl with eyes like sapphires. But since she could dream, a rare gift for a doll, and catch a glimps of  future in her journey through the realm of sleep, she already knew back then that all things had to end and change..
And as time moved on the little girl came of age and the doll became forgotten. With eyes full of emerald tears she tried so hard to cling on her past, but you can't stop time..
Years went by and soon did decades. Still forgotten and alone there was nothing left for the doll but dreaming. But then, one day, the doll couldn't tell how long it had been, but finally she could feel that there was someone near her. It wasn't a human, but something else - rather a ghost or a being from the other side. When the creature saw the doll there was nothing it could do but to approach - needless to say it was lonely itself..
The doll was looking at the ghost with lifeless eyes but her lips were smiling, oh well, they were just painted that way.. The ghost reached out for the doll and took her in it's shadow arms.
"We both are lonely", the creature whispered. "So, if this is no dream, if this is real, let's go together, we won't be lonesome anymore..."
The figure was sinking to the ground, still holding the doll against its chest, when it suddenly started to vanish, leaving the doll all alone. But if you looked closely you could see life growing in the doll's eyes.. Slowly she raised her head, looking at the moon.
"From now on we will live.."
And the doll was smiling - she knew, she would never be alone anymore..
