Dear friends,

on this day, when the borders between the worlds are very thin, My Friend Skeleton and the team of Danse Macabre Records, one of Germany's top-goth-labels, came together in order to make a pact for the future, signed with blood.

With this strong ally in the back, nothing will stand in the way of the release of the double-debut-album "Vanitas", which will appear in spring 2010.

The time of silence will soon be over - every work of art needs its time to grow and bloom and soon it will glare in its final clarity.

In order to live up to their own high expectations My Friend Skeleton are currently working hard on their debut album. To kill the time until it will be published they already revealed some new facts about the CD.

The first album 'Vanitas' will in fact be a double album including one disc "Hinter der Maske der Schönheit..." in which My Friend Skeleton will present more from the complex world of ghosts and forgotten dreams - there will even be some already known stories like 'Black Widow' or 'The Dead One' completely over-worked and in a whole new sound atmosphere.

The second disc "...lauert der Tod" will be performed by My Skeleton Friend - a group which consists of the alter egos of Amaya Sakinah Skeleton, Archimed S. Skeleton, Kay Ozz Skeleton and Serena Skeleton. In this incarnation they will present themselves from a more electronic and danceable side - still they keep their very own way of creating a whole new world through words and music.

My Friend Skeleton are establishing with project 23-12 a mirror world between the facades for you.
My Friend Skeleton has always been more than a normal band. They are messengers and intermediators of an own philosophy.
With their new work 23-12 they create a portal to a very special journey which starts at a point where life finds its end. It will lead you to your memories of long forgotten dreams.
The portal is the linchpin for your prospective odyssey, to think about who you are and what you dream of. It is up to you to re- surrect your lost dreams at this unique place where life and death exist in parallel. This last resting-place connects web, music and art in an innovative way to a new philosophy of life. A place, where the past will be left behind and where you can move on to pastures new.
Design your memorial in an individual way. Come to see other graves, become acquainted with other perspectives and become a part of this community sui generis which will not tie itself to already existing conventions. Gain bone material which you can trade for objects for your tombstone.
The journey will start on December 23rd at 23:12. All of you who will register on the same day will obtain a special object for their memorial. It will only be awarded in these remaining 48 minutes. My Friend Skeleton are inviting you to their unique uni- verse. Take their hand, seize your chance, be a pioneer and make this place an unforgettable resting-place - for all living and all dead.
